Develop dexterity, problem-solving and reasoning skills, hand/eye coordination, colour, shape, size identification, and most of all, the number counting skills that these big, bright, multi-coloured numbers can accomplish for the pre-schoolers. The numbers in the Number Set are cut from individual pieces of wood. They are free standing so as to line up or lie down. The pieces are light in weight, large in size, so pre-schoolers can work with them easily. All are precut, safe, sturdy and water-resistant. The colours are non-toxic and stain-like impregnated finishes.

The size of the numbers are approximately 2-1/4" wide, 3-1/2" tall and 1-1/2" thick. The numbers are coloured by (3) primary & (2) secondary colours.

YELLOW, ORANGE, RED, GREEN, BLUE.

The (5) colours are rotated through the set of numbers twice by going from light to dark colours, left to right. Just one more way of teaching sequencing. Please note we are not using all of the (8) colours as used in the Alphabet Set simply because it is convenient to rotate just (5) colours twice. Also note here that the Alphabet Set is coloured differently. It is coloured Phonetically, to assist the youngster to enunciate syllables and pronounce words.
