The Pro Drive PD2520 allows for two 2.5 in. high capacity hard drives to be installed. RAID 0 hardware controller, which is embedded in the unit, enables RAID functionality to your Mac Pro system for easy setup. This unit can be connected to other PCs using FireWire 800 or USB 2.0 connections. RAID 0 allows you to use two drives to act as a single drive for large capacity. By doing so, this gives you about 30% speed boost over a single 3.5 in. drive.
