RectorSeal No. 5 Special pipe thread sealant is a variation of the basic RectorSeal No. 5 formulation. For use where a low odor sealant with low temperature application is required.

• 1/2 Pint Brush Top No.5 Special Pipe Thread Sealant
• This sealant is especially formulated for use around gas detection equipment
• formulation modified for specific applications where low odor, non-staining, and soft set features are desired
• Its low coefficient of friction allows tighter joint makeup with lower torque
• It also breaks out easily without galling, seizing, or damaging threads
• It is non-toxic in accordance with NSF Standard 14 and/or other applicable NSF Standards
