The Yankee Tipper collapsible mechanical feeding tray is weight-activated using a patented Droll Yankees design. Birds can perch on it but a squirrel's weight on the seed tray causes it to tip down. The 10" seed tray is ideal for songbirds. It's a Cardinal favorite. A 21-inch long feed tube holds 5 pounds of seed. The feeder also features a stainless steel wire hanger that will not rust. The metal cap fits snugly so that squirrels cannot pry it off. The 4.75-inch diameter seed tube is made of UV stabilized polycarbonate for durability and is long enough so that squirrels cannot hang down from the top and reach seed. The interior is properly baffled to direct seed to the seed ports. Four seed ports are positioned around the tube. The metal parts have a midnight black finish. This bird feeder measures 21 inches in length with a diameter of 4.75 inches.
